Advantage 400 for dogs Spot-on solution for dogs for the prevention and treatment of fleas and treatment of biting lice in dogs from 25 kg. Target species Dogs Active ingredient Each 4.0 ml pipette contains: Active ingredient: 400 mg imidacloprid; 4.0 mg butylated hydroxytoluene. Indications For the prevention and control of fleas and for the treatment of biting lice (Trichodectes canis) in dogs from 25 kg. Fleas present on the dog are killed within one day of administration. A one-time treatment protects against further flea infestation for 4 weeks. The veterinary medicine can be used as part of a flea allergy dermatitis (VAD) treatment strategy， where this diagnosis has been made beforehand by a veterinarian. Contraindications: Do not treat unweaned puppies less than 8 weeks old. Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients. Dosage and administration When using this veterinary medicinal product， the veterinarian's instructions should be followed. Route of administration: Take a pipette out of the package. For dogs weighing 40 kg and over， use two pipettes. Hold the pipette upright， twist and remove the cap. Put the cap back on upside down and twist to break the seal. The dog must be upright for easy administration. The entire contents of the pipette(s) should be applied evenly in three to four different places on the back from shoulder to tail base. Press the hairs apart in each area until the skin becomes visible. Place the open side of the pipette on the skin and squeeze gently to drip some of the contents directly onto the skin. Directions for proper administration For external use only. Do not apply too much in a single place; Otherwise， part of the solution may run off the dog's side. Correct administration minimizes the opportunity for the dog to lick the veterinary medicinal product. Apply only to undamaged skin. Don't let recently treated animals lick each other.
